Why does Live Messenger For Mac Suck?

I really hope one day Microsoft would upgrade Live Messenger for Mac. The only good thing bout it is that it's super fast. Other than that, it just suck. If any of you haven't seen it yet. Here's how it looks like.  

I was halfway talking with some friends just now and this happened all of sudden. It's not the first time.

There's very limited activities.

Macintosh softwares and applications are all really great. This is the only application that bothers me most.
